It happens to most of us. Our key rings get so heavy, carrying the extra weight of aged, obsolete keys; and often we don’t even remember what doors and locks we used these keys for. At Key Mobile, we call them “mystery keys”. Next time you do a cleaning out of your key inventory, instead of throwing your mystery keys in the trash, send them to us. Why overload our landfills with materials that can be recycled, melted down, and reused?

- Old keys used to open the packaging tape on boxes
- Attaching obsolete keys to the chain at the end of your ceiling fan
- Dipping keys in paint to be used as stamps on your children’s pieces of art
- Attaching the combination to your combo lock (via a piece of write-on tape or post-it) so that you can store it and use it in the future, or give it to someone who might be able to use it, such as your friend, sibling, local gym or YMCA
